ACTIVE LISTENING
When I work with families the skill that I always address early on is active listening.... The simplest but most difficult tool for effective communication. It feels so simple that it is hard to believe how powerful it is in everyday interactions. Sooooo what do you hear me saying so far????

You are blessed that it feels so simple to you. There are those of us who struggle to be still long enough to hear what is being said and those of us who hear only what is said and never manage to hear what was between the lines. If that is a skill you can teach I would sign up for class today!
